BENIN CITY — The Governing Council of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, led by Chief Dan Orbih, has received widespread praise from university stakeholders for its unwavering commitment to the institution’s infrastructural development.
The commendation follows the council’s successful facilitation of a major internal road network construction project, executed by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
A “Historic” Boost to Infrastructure
In a press statement issued in Benin City, concerned stakeholders of the university lauded the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Chief Dan Orbih, for leveraging his extensive political network to attract critical development to the campus.
The stakeholders noted that the ongoing project marks a historic turning point for the institution’s physical landscape.
”History has it, at least in the last two decades, as the only Pro-Chancellor that has used his wide political links to uplift the infrastructure of the university,” the statement read. “Today, even the blind can notice the massive road construction taking place in the university.”
